Alexandre Jones is an American writer from Atlanta, currently living in Parma, Italy.
Alexandre's YA fantasy-adventure novel "Stella Byrd and the Silver Shadow" is available in print or Kindle on amazon. This is the first of a planned series entitled, "The Otherworldly Adventures of Stella Byrd and Carolina Finder."
Alexandre's Italian-language middle-grade novel "Guendalina Valenti e i Gatti Volanti", or "Gwendalyn Valenti and the Flying Cats," is due for publication in November 2016.
It's an ambitous project: Publishing two different novels, in two different languages, at the same time.
Alex is also the author of the Italian-language literary thriller "Il Traduttore," self-published in 2012. "Il Traduttore", or "The Translator," has received numerous outstanding reviews-- calling Jones a "genius" and the novel "an ironic, fast-paced literary treat"-- and continues to sell, finding ever more enthusiastic readers. His next thriller, featuring the same two down-on-their luck protagonists, the translator Patrick Bird and his buddy "Il Cicciò", will be published by NineArt Edizioni in 2017, and is entitled "L'inno di altrove", or "The Anthem of Elsewhere."
An actor and playwright, Alex is a founding member of the Sognambuli Parma Theatre Company.
